The management of Renault proposed on Thursday, September 22, to the unions exceptional gestures in favor of purchasing power, franceinfo learned from the management of the car company that has about 42,000 employees in France. This aid, once combined, represents around €1,000 net paid to most employees at the end of the year.
Specifically, in October a purchasing power bonus (the old “Macron bonus”) of €500 will be paid, to which are added three months of coverage from the group’s health insurance company (approximately €315) as well as a subsidy of €100 transport. Employees will finally have the opportunity to monetize 3 days of RTT increased by 25%.
This aid applies to all employees and temporary workers working in France and does not replace future salary negotiations for 2023, which will start at the end of the year. They are still due for signature by the unions next week. The Force Ouvrière (FO) union has already indicated that it would accept these proposals.
