After failing in the case this summer, Paris Saint-Germain could relaunch negotiations for Inter Milan central defender Milan Skriniar as early as January. Because at the same time, the Italian club fails to agree with the Slovak an extension.

It’s no secret that during the last transfer window of the summer, the signing of Inter Milan central defender Milan Skriniar was top of mind for Paris Saint-Germain officials.
But, after weeks of negotiations, the capital club finally had to abandon the case, due to its inability to meet the Lombard requirements on the file.
PSG willing to offer up to €30M?
However, as expected, PSG has not forgotten the Slovakian international at all, who has a contract with the Italian formation until June 2023. According to information revealed this Monday by the transalpine newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Parisians intend to return to the load in this file in the month of January during the winter transfer window.
But obviously the reigning French champions have no intention of spending much on the 27-year-old with an offer now estimated at a maximum of €30m, an amount revised largely downwards from last August. but a logical trend in relation to the contractual situation of the former Sampdoria.
Skriniar makes Inter suffer
To get Skriniar back, PSG could take advantage of the discussions the stop between the player and the Milanese leaders about an extension of his lease. In fact, the two parties cannot agree because the intriguing rock was not seduced by the two solutions proposed by his management: a short-term extension or the inclusion of a release clause.
But nothing is decided for Paris, since the native of Ziar nad Hronom evidently does not show any desire to change scenery during the season. Suffice it to say that Skriniar’s future remains uncertain at the moment… Meanwhile, while Inter fear the worst result, PSG seem ready to play spoilsport until the end.
