The 16-core, 32-thread Zen 4, cooled by an AIO water cooling kit, stands out in several benchmarks.
A Ryzen 9 7950X, the flagship of the Ryzen 7000, has been overclocked to 5.4/5.5 GHz on all of its cores, while being cooled with a simple AIO kit. Thus, the processor was able to set four new records in the 16-core/32-thread chip category.
Ryzen prevailed in Cinebench R23 with a score of 40,498 points; It beats the previous record of 40,412 points held by a Core i9-12900KS overclocked to 7GHz and kept cool with liquid nitrogen. In Cinebench R20, the Ryzen 9 7950X outperformed the Ryzen 9 5950X, whose performance also involved liquid nitrogen cooling; the same in Cinebench R15. Finally, in 7-Zip, the Ryzen Zen 4 also outperforms its predecessor, which was again illustrated under liquid nitrogen.
According to Benchmate data, temperatures ranged from 87°C to 108°C, while wattages ranged from 226 W to 244 W.
